Similes and metaphors

Is it a simile or a metaphor?

Both similes and metaphors make comparisons. The difference between them is that similes use the words 'like' and 'as' to compare things; whereas metaphors directly state a comparison. In these worksheets students are asked to read sentences and determine if the sentence is a simile or a metaphor.
