How to Add Spelling Words to K5 Spelling

K5 Spelling normally automatically generates spelling words for your child based on their grade level and past performance.  However, there are times that parents would like to use the program for specific words, such as for the weekly spelling test or Spelling Bee contests.

The good news is that you can do that with K5 Spelling and it’s easy to add the words.  Here’s how.

On the parent dashboard, click on “add words”

This will take you straight to the form for entering the words.  Enter the words you’d like your child to practice and click ‘submit’.

The next time your child uses K5 Spelling, he or she will be quizzed on and taught the words you have input.
