Want to keep up with the goings-on in online education? We came across a great resource a while back and have been reading this blog ever since. Virtual school meanderings keeps an eye out for and posts information about K-12 online education, online learning, and virtual and cyberschools.
It’s being written by Michael Barbour, a teacher, course designer, researcher and administrator in various virtual schools in Canada and the United States. He points out the goal of his site is:
- “To pass on all items related to K-12 distance education, specifically K-12 online learning, that cross my electronic desk.
- To provide a space for me to play with ideas and opinions related to K-12 online learning in a non-academic way.”
He certainly knows what he’s talking about and is not afraid to voice his opinion. If you’re a parent, like us, and are interested in online learning – either for school or after-school study, Virtual school meanderings can keep you up to date with the latest news and views.
