Fifth Grader Speaks Up in Fight Against Bullying

Out of the mouth of babes.  We were so impressed by this young man’s speech about his experiences with being bullied.  Fifth grader Dylan Radley uses just the right amount of humor to catch the audience’s attention whilst he gets the anti-bullying message across really well.

For his efforts he won the first prize in the Hillsborough County 4-H Tropicana Speaking Competition.

Here’ some food for thought – from Dylan’s speech: “Did you know that one out of every four kids is bullied in America? That means if you put four of us in a reading group together, one of us has been bullied. Since I have experience with this, I knew I needed to bring awareness to the topic.”
