Jaden and Weejum

Jaden and the Weejum, a Cats Angels’ Adventure” is a charming fantasy written at the third grade level, but will be enjoyed by animal lovers of all ages.

Cats from the local shelter escape at night and assist a magical creature called a Weejum help children in need. Keelee, the Weejum, looks like a cute little boy except that he has long rabbit ears and is only two feet tall.

Eight-year-old Jaden lost two emotionally important toys because she succumbed to peer- pressure. She learns how true friends behave when her new companions help her find them in the Weejum’s world. That’s where lost things go.

As each chapter ends, the reader must choose which paths to follow in their quest. Lively action and colorful descriptions will keep young readers engaged. Like Jaden, you can only hope you’ve made the right decision.

My name is Mary Ann Bator-Gray and I live in Fernandina Beach, Florida with my wonderful husband and three adorable cats. When I’m not cleaning and caring for felines at Cats Angels, I love to write, read, and walk on the beach. I donate most of the proceeds from book sales to local spay/neuter animal rescue organizations.
