Combining Two Sentences with And

You can often combine two short sentences to make a longer sentence. One of the most common conjunctions used to combine those sentences is “and”. 

For example:

Deepa likes marble cake. Deepa likes ice cream.

These two sentences can be combined to make the longer sentence:

Deepa likes marble cake and ice cream.
