We are proud supporters of Kiva, the micro-finance lending company that lets individuals lend money to entrepreneurs in developing countries around the world. These entrepreneurs are often women whose children’s education depends on the success of their tiny businesses. 82% of the loans are to women, and over 98% of the loans are fully repaid by the borrower. The loans take place through a worldwide network of micro-finance institutions, helping people that don’t have access to the traditional banking system.
