We work with leading teachers to create K-5 content for this site. If you are interested in working with us, please read through the options below.
Current need #1: math video creators
We are looking for experienced and talented teachers to create Khan Academy style math videos on basic math skills. Each video should show the solution of a math problem with a voiceover. The videos should be accessible to both the students and parents / tutors.
If you are interested, please send as a short (< 60 s), sample video (or a link to it).
Current need #2: writers for grade 5-6 levelled stories
We are looking for writers to contribute original fiction or non-fiction stories, 1,000 - 1,500 words long and within specified Lexile ranges. These stories are intended for grade 5 and 6 students. If interested, please send us an appropriate writing sample.
Submit an article or story
We would like to add high quality fiction and non-fiction reading comprehension content throughout the site.
Fiction stories should be wholesome and preferably humorous or include relevant non-fiction content in a fictional context.
Non-fiction articles on topics in science, social studies, geography, nature, biographies, or history are also welcome. If you have an article or story you would like us to consider, please send it to us along with its intended grade level and subject area. Do not worry about formatting or illustrations.
If there is an area of our site which you feel you could improve with materials you create, send us your proposal and a sample.
